About Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge.
Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge is set on the banks of the Mluwati River in the heart of the Kruger National Park. Expect an authentic encounter that prides itself upon a relaxed African ambiance in extraordinary bush surroundings; the Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s most renowned conservation areas and home to the Big Five.
Tsonga tradition runs throughout these comfortable suites; the warm glow of brightly coloured walls, traditional ornaments and little embellishments on lamps, door handles and mirrors bringing this local culture to life. Relax on your private deck looking out onto the bush, take a long, leisurely shower in the open air or melt in to your comfortable king-size bed for an afternoon nap. It’s your relaxing, informal bush experience on your terms.
The lodge serves homemade baked goods as well as light salads and local specialties, in addition you will be enjoying your meals together with the sounds of the bush. Enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast with a variety of fruits, nuts, yoghurts, breads, pastries and cheese or opt for a full English breakfast with bacon, sausage and eggs; freshly squeezed orange juice and strong coffee at the ready after your morning safari.

Arrival
You’ll be collected from the airport (or hotel).
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1Start of 4 Day Tour, Pick Up in JHB
Your Mr Shuttle driver/guide will meet you at OR Tambo International Airport or your hotel in Johannesburg/Sandton/Pretoria on the day of departure. This drive will be a total of 7 hours including comfort stops.
Upon arrival at the Lodge, your driver/guide will take you to reception to assist with Check-In. The Lodge staff will be there to inform you of all the activities and time on each day.
As soon as you have settled into your room, you will meet up with your Game Ranger at 15h00. Afternoon tea, served on the deck, heralds the imminent departure of your special evening safari through the Mluwati Concession.
Sip a sundowner G&T as you watch the sky turn from the brilliance of an African sunset to a bright band of stars; the persistent call of frogs, owls and nightjars accompanying you back to Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge where an African feast awaits.
Day 2
Full Day at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge
Kick-start your day at 05h00 before the sun rises, dunking a homemade rusk into a steamy cup of coffee before setting off on your morning game drive with your assigned ranger. Game drives take place in the Kruger National Park and they are more or less 3 hours in duration.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast under the thatched rondawel roofs of Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge and then retire to your room and relax, laze at the crystal-clear infinity pool or request a bush walk for an up-close encounter with the Kruger.
Lunch is a relaxed, informal affair. Served on the deck with beautiful views of the surrounding bushveld, guests are treated to light salads and tasty desserts before retiring to their rooms for an afternoon siesta.
Last but not least, your evening starts with a Evening Game drive followed by dinner back at the Lodge.
Day 3

Early Morning Game drive, breakfast and departure to JHB
Game Drive in the AM, Breakfast and Transfer back to JHB
Sadly your time at Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge has come to an end.
You will once again meet up with your assigned ranger for your last morning game drive. Upon return at the Lodge you will have a refreshing breakfast.
At 11h00, you will head back to reception and check-out. Your Mr Shuttle driver/guide will meet you at the reception for your journey back to your Hotel in JHB/Sandton/PTA or OR Tambo International Airport.
