Lush Private Lodge is located in Black Rhino Game Reserve. A private concession within the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.
Traversing rights over the 55 00ha (135 000ac) assure guests an intimate – and unique – safari experience, with the chance to see all of the Big Five and the endangered African wild dog.
Lush is a contemporary lodge, shaped around the environment. Minimalistic décor and natural finishes put the focus on the view, at once drawing guests to outdoor living spaces.

You’ll be collected from the airport (or hotel).
Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Departing JHB for your Tour to Black Rhino Game Reserve where Lush Lodge is Situated
Your tour will depart at 10h00 from Johanessburg Hotel/Airport. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be assisted by a Mr Shuttle driver/guide to reception for check-in at 14h00. Your bags will be taken to your room where you will be able to settle in. All the rooms have been designed with privacy and every comfort in mind, each room include,
• Emperor-sized bed
• Pause area (incl. Smeg minibar and Nespresso coffee machine)
• In-room freestanding bath, en-suite shower room, open-air shower & range of deluxe body products
• Furnished deck & and private splash pool
Later that afternoon at about 16h00, you will join your Game Ranger for a High Tea whereafter at 16h30 you will be taken on your Evening game drive of more or less 3hours in duration. You will head back to the Lodge after your game drive and have dinner at The Lodge in the Main Guest Area or the African Boma. After dinner you can settle in for the night.
Day 2
Full Day at Lush Private Lodge
You will have this full day to spend at Lush Lodge. You will wake this morning at 05h00 with a wake-up call from your ranger, you will then meet up for Tea & Coffee at 05h30 before heading off to your first early morning game drive at 05h45. After the game drive, breakfast will be served back at the lodge at 09h00, in the Main Guest Area. You will have a large portion of the day at the lodge where you can book extra activities around the Pilanesberg and Sun City Area such as:
• Pilanesberg hot-air balloon safaris
• Golf at Sun City’s championship Gary Player and Lost City golf courses

At 13h00 Lunch will be served, and the Afternoon Tea is served at 16h00. At 16h30 you will get to enjoy yet another game drive of more or less 3 hours in duration and head back to the lodge. Dinner will be served at 20h00.
Day 3
Game Drive & Breakfast in the AM and Departure to JHB
Departure back to JHB/Hotel or Airport
Your tour is coming to a near end now. You will wake with a wake-up call on your last morning at 05h00 from your game ranger and meet up at 05h30 to have some tea or coffee before going on your last game drive at 05h45. After the game drive, you will be taken back to the lodge where breakfast is served at 09h00. Check-Out time is at 11h00. You can take your time getting your things and meet your Mr Shuttle driver/guide at the reception for your journey back home.
